Due to Covid 19, this retreat has been cancelled and will be rescheduled in 2022

This retreat offers a weekend of shared silence, meditation and other contemplative practices, including lectio divina, chant, and mindful work. In addition, participants may choose to join the resident community of St Isaac’s in praying the Prayer of the Church.
There will be some recorded teaching offered, by teacher of the Christian mystics James Finley (see https://jamesfinley.org/).
While the retreat will follow a clear structure, participants will be invited to ‘listen in’ and be free to choose their level of involvement in the shared practices.
There is accommodation for six people on-site
Note: Participants will be expected to have a developing /established practice of meditation or centering prayer.
Retreat facilitator: Agnes Hermans . Agnes is one of the founding coordinators of the Contemplative Network Aotearoa, and she is currently studying with Center for Action and Contemplation.
Cost: Koha to St Isaac’s for accommodation, and koha for facilitation.
Catering: The retreat will be largely self-catered, with participants contributing to most of the meals.
