Yes, it is said that in ‘the beginning was the Word’ and ‘the beginning’ that John was referring to was Silence. The poet Rumi wrote that silence was Gods first language and it was Spanish mystics who said that ‘nada’ (nothing) is the source of all. Today physicists tell us that out of formlessness comes all form (energy)... So what is this Silence, this nada, this formlessness and how do we embrace it? Well not surprisingly it can be found everywhere if only we know how. During the day we’ll explore these themes and practices to get glimpses of Holy Silence – Whole Silence.

This day naturally flows on to Sunday and it will equally stand alone.
